From May 17 to 21, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kumam visited Prof. Dr. Thorsten Dickhaus, Professor of Mathematical Statistics and Vice Dean at the Institute for Statistics, University of Bremen, Germany. The visit promoted academic dialogue and potential research collaboration in statistics, as both scholars exchanged ideas on current projects and explored future joint initiatives, highlighting their mutual commitment to international academic cooperation and research advancement.

CaRe In Halle and Leipzig

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kumam recently embarked on a successful academic journey to Germany, where she engaged in enriching dialogues with scholars at leading institutions. Her visit underscored the importance of building collaborative networks and fostering mutual understanding in the global academic landscape.

Through her meetings and campus visits, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kumam reinforced the value of cross-cultural research initiatives and international partnerships. Her commitment to promoting educational excellence and research innovation continues to inspire academic communities both locally and globally.

Between March 29 and April 9, 2025, Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, a member of the CaRe Network, visited Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany, as a visiting scientist. Hosted by the FAU DCN-AvH Chair, his visit focused on collaborative research in dynamics, control, machine learning, and numerical optimization with leading experts.

During the same period, Miss Kanokwan Kratuloek, a Ph.D. student from KMUTT, began her four-month Erasmus+ scholarship at FAU’s Department of Mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Enrique Zuazua. Their joint presence marks a significant step forward in strengthening Thai–German academic collaboration.
