2024 Thai-French Seminar at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Électricité et de Mécanique (ENSEM)

On October 16-17, 2024, CaRe Global Network and GREEN (Groupe de Recherche en Énergie Électrique de Nancy), Department of Electrical Engineering, Université de Lorraine, Nancy, France, organized the technical seminar of the international research lab partnership EE-TFRC (2024 Thai-French Seminar) at the École Nationale Supérieure d’Électricité et de Mécanique (ENSEM). The seminar was opened by Prof. Noureddine Takorabet, Director of the GREEN Lab. Six representatives from the Thai and French teams presented their research as follows:
- Mr. Pongsiri Mungporn: “Improved Adaptive Hamiltonian Control Law for Battery/Ultracapacitor Hybrid for Electric Vehicle Applications”
- Mr. Nattapon Somboonpanya: “Very Low Frequency Wireless Charger for Electric Vehicle Applications”
- Dr. Thittaporn Ganokratanaa: “Unsupervised Anomaly Detection for Surveillance Videos”
- Mr. Bousaad Moualek: “MRI-Compatible Actuators”
- Mr. Thong-In Suyata: “Improved Damping Control Based on Hamiltonian Control Law with Lyapunov State-Observer for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Drives”
- Dr. Ilyas Bennia: “Microgrid Challenges, Solutions, and Prospects”
There was also a French party at the end of the seminar, where the CaRe Global Network team, along with PMU executive commmittees, Dr.Pavadee Aungkavattana and Ms.Yaowadee Rungruang joined in to close the event.
