On February 28, 2025, CaRe members Asst. Prof. Dr. Supak Phiangsungnoen and Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyachat Borisut participated in the knowledge-sharing initiative “LA Go Green: Towards Low-Carbon Business and Society.” The event aimed to promote awareness and foster behavioral change through knowledge transfer, inspiring a learning society focused on energy and environmental innovation. It provided a platform for the younger generation to develop critical skills, creativity, and the capacity to build sustainable, low-carbon communities and businesses.
The program featured informative talks on “Greenhouse Gas Issues and Everyday Energy-Saving Practices” and “Resource-Conscious Thinking and Waste Management Processes.” In addition, hands-on workshops engaged participants in activities such as tree planting to combat climate change and a campaign walk encouraging waste segregation.
