CaRe Network Members and International Collaborators Join MITRE-2025 in Moldova

The CaRe Network proudly participated in the 10th edition of the Mathematics and Information Technology: Research and Education (MITRE-2025) Conference, held from June 26 to June 29, 2025, at Moldova State University (USM), Chișinău, Moldova. Representing CaRe were Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kumam, accompanied by their long-standing collaborator, Prof. Dr. Ioan-Lucian Popa from the “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia, Romania. As part of the academic sessions, Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam delivered an insightful invited talk on “Fixed Point Iterative Techniques for Solving Nonlinear Convex Optimization Problems,” while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kumam presented a thought-provoking lecture titled “Half a Century of Fixed Point Theory Research in Thailand: A Bibliometric Analysis”.

Hosted by the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science as part of the Mathematics Week in Chișinău, MITRE-2025 commemorated the 100th anniversary of Academician Valentin Belousov and was co-organized with the "V. Andrunachievici" Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of USM. The event gathered distinguished scholars from around the globe to foster exchange and collaboration in mathematics and information technology. The active engagement of CaRe members, together with European partners, reflects a strong commitment to interdisciplinary research and to building lasting academic bridges across regions.
