Forging Global Partnerships: KMUTT and the University of Derby Unite for Collaborative Research and Academic Excellence

On June 17, 2025, executives from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tula Jutarosaga, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, Director of the Center of Excellence in Theoretical and Computational Science (TaCs-CoE), convened with representatives from the International Research Network (CaRe Network). The meeting included delegates from esteemed institutions such as the University of Derby (UK) and CERN (Switzerland), and focused on exploring potential collaboration in joint research, researcher exchanges, and workforce development.
The participants outlined key guidelines for drafting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to support joint research initiatives and the exchange of researchers and students. They also proposed organizing international academic activities to enhance research quality and strengthen the academic competencies of students, researchers, and faculty in alignment with global standards.
