International Workshop on Model Predictive Control (MPC) & Model-Free Predictive Control: Applications in Modern Power Electronics

We are delighted to announce the upcoming international workshop on “Model Predictive Control (MPC) & Model-Free Predictive Control: Applications in Modern Power Electronics” to be delivered by Prof. Dr. Babak Nahid-Mobarakeh (IEEE Fellow) from McMaster Automotive Resource Center (MARC), McMaster University, Canada, a distinguished expert in advanced control systems and power electronics. This workshop offers a valuable opportunity to explore the latest predictive control strategies for modern power converters through both theoretical insights and practical sessions.

The workshop will take place on November 7, 2025, at Birds and Bees Resort, Pattaya, Thailand, and will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Phatiphat Thounthong from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops with MATLAB/Simulink installed. Free registration, limited to 25 participants!
