Prof. Dr. Surin Khomfoi, as a member of CaRe, joins the prestigious World Expo Osaka 2025 on Yumeshima Island in Osaka, Japan. The event is themed “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, aiming to inspire new ideas and innovations for a better and more sustainable future.
The Expo serves as a global platform for showcasing and exchanging cutting-edge technologies, ideas, and innovations from around the world. It focuses on addressing major global challenges such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and promoting a technology-driven society (Society 5.0).
The event will feature pavilions from over 160 countries and international organizations, presenting futuristic technologies. A major architectural highlight of the expo is the “Grand Ring”, a massive wooden structure symbolizing global cooperation and unity.
