RISE 5.0 Project Meeting with the Erasmus+ Project Officer Advancing Global Research Excellence

The RISE 5.0 (Reimagining Innovation in STEM Education for Inclusive and Sustainable Development in Industry 5.0) consortium held an official meeting with the Erasmus+ Project Officer on 6 March 2026 to review project progress and discuss strategic directions for strengthening higher education capacity, particularly in rural regions of Thailand and India. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, supporting international collaboration in advancing research and education.

RISE 5.0 brings together leading academic institutions and international partners from Thailand, India, and Europe, with the shared goal of transforming STEM education through the principles of Industry 5.0, human-centric innovation, and sustainable development. The consortium promotes international research collaboration, academic mobility, knowledge exchange, and capacity building to address emerging challenges in science, technology, and interdisciplinary research.

This initiative also includes members of the CaRe Network who are actively involved in the project, namely Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kumam, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supak Phiangsungnoen, Asst. Prof. Dr. Konrawut Khammahawong, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Thittaporn Ganokratanaa. Through RISE 5.0, participating institutions aim to strengthen global research networks, empower researchers, and foster long-term international partnerships that contribute to scientific progress and sustainable societal development.
