RMUTT Hosts CaRe Network Workshop on Mathematics and Data Science: Bridging Theory and Application Across Smart Farming, IoT, Healthcare, and Nuclear Physics

The Department of Applied Statistics and the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), in collaboration with the Center for International Research Network (CaRe Network), organized a special lecture event titled:
“CaRe Network Workshop on Mathematics and Data Science: From Theory to Applications in Smart Farming, IoT, Healthcare, and Nuclear Physics” on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Room ST1906, RMUTT.
The workshop was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nipat Chongsawad, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, who presided over the ceremony. Ms. Sasiprapa Asavaviboon, Assistant to the President, extended a warm welcome to the speakers and participants.
The event featured distinguished guest speakers from the University of Derby, United Kingdom, including:
- Professor Dr. Ovidiu Bagdasar
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lee Barnby
- Dr. Muhammad Rizwan
- Dr. Ajay Kaushik
These experts delivered insightful lectures on the application of mathematics and data science in various cutting-edge domains such as smart farming, the Internet of Things (IoT), healthcare, and nuclear physics.
This activity aimed to enhance knowledge in mathematics and data science while fostering theoretical and applied knowledge exchange between researchers and students. The workshop aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure.
This initiative reflects RMUTT’s ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and the development of human capital for sustainable innovation and progress through academic collaboration and global research partnerships.
