CaRe Global Network Strengthens Thailand–Japan Academic Collaboration Through Exchange Program 2026

From June 20–27, 2026, the CaRe Global Network, led by Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wiyada Kumam, Asst. Prof. Dr. Konrawut Khammahawong, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Piyachat Borisut, together with students from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) and Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), participated in the Thailand–Japan Academic Exchange Program 2026 at Akita Prefectural University (APU), Japan. Organized in collaboration with Professor Shin-ya Matsushita and colleagues, the program strengthened long-standing academic partnerships between Thailand and Japan while promoting collaboration in Mathematics, Optimization, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and international research.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in academic discussions, university presentations, student networking, campus visits, and cultural exchange activities that fostered meaningful international connections. A special highlight was the presentation of KMUTT and RMUTT to Japanese students, showcasing their research excellence, international opportunities, and Thailand's growing role in higher education and innovation. The exchange further reinforced global academic networks, expanded opportunities for future student mobility and joint research projects, and reflected CaRe Global Network's commitment to building sustainable international collaboration through education, research, and cultural exchange.
