Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam Participated in Erasmus+ Workshop on STEM Skills for Industry 5.0

On September 3-4, 2026, Prof. Dr. Poom Kumam, a member of the CaRe Global Network, participated in the workshop “The Mind & The Machine: STEM Skills for Industry 5.0,” held as part of the Erasmus+ Programme under the RISE 5.0 initiative at Mizoram University, Mizoram, India. The workshop brought together educators, academics, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs to explore emerging technologies and strengthen STEM capabilities in preparation for the evolving Industry 5.0 landscape.
The two-day workshop focused on artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT), while also examining regional technology needs and the integration of ethics into STEM education. Participants exchanged knowledge and perspectives on developing a Synergy/Virtual Lab connecting STEM education with real-world applications, alongside visits to the Industrial Growth Centre, Luangmual, and Bamboo Technology Park, Sairang.
